From 2nd July 07 to 6th July 07, i attended my school's (NTU SCBE) orientation camp, Camp Nueve 07!

First day 2nd July, met up with my Kanza grp mate at Boon Lay Interchange early in the morning.... Was feeling a bit sian in that morning partly because of my small flu that i had on Sunday, partly because of the lousy haircut that i had. We waited for quite a while at the interchange before we get on the bus 179 towards NTU. From now on Camp Nueve 2007 adventure started! We reached the Hall 7. The hall was quite run down actually. We played some ice breaker games at the function hall before settling all the admin stuff. Then after everything is settled, it all started! We had a school orientation and on the way played some station games! the games are fun!!!! but a bit tiring and this is jus the start of everything!@ Very fast its dinner time.... Had a sumptuous dinner. Then all the dirty things start... We were blind folded and lead to stations ard sch. Made to swim ard in milo pools, flour poured on the head with egg, made to play Tug-a-war with a tree (which i do not know at that time), climb thru an eerie drain using only 2 candles... Hahahah its like when all the activities finished i was smelling and looking like someone who stayed in the garbage dump for 2 days... Shagged and tired we went back to slp.... Zzzzzz....

2nd Day, 3rd July. Fresh new morning for a fresh new start!! Had breakfast at the function room.... Today the plans for the morning is pool activities!!!!! yeah!!!!! hahahah Quickly we moved to the swimming pool and carried out our pool activites!! it was fun!!!!! suddenly i realised that i am old le.... swimming a few labs make me pant so much.... hahahah we played captains ball in the pool, bi shou hua jiao games, Da Dee pool version. At the pool i felt that the grp had juelled up a lot more!!! everyone is now starting to cheer~!!! it felt great although we lost most of the time... hahaha. Then after lunch, we had station games!!! it was fun too.... but a bit tiring cos we are like drained from the pool games.... Then at night we were "supposed" to have a lab safety lecture talk but suddenly halfway thru the talk we heard a very loud scream and a loud thud. Frankly speaking at that moment i really tot someone committed suicide. Then when we ran out, we saw it... FRIGHT night started... We were split into 2 grps and given clues on why the lady "committerd suicide". They led us to a few places and scare us with shoutings and howling... Frankly speaking, i was shocked for a few times... hahah the FRIGHT night was really very nicely planned out!!! Can see that a lot of effort is being put in... A loud applause for the programmers!

3rd day, 04 July. Today's activity is ........... Amazing Race!!!!!!! hahahah actually its one of the more not very interesting activity... its jus like running ard singapore and finding clues as to where the next place to go. On the ways there are fun games and activities which requires the participation of passer-bys on the streets. Then at night we had camp fire... which we acted out the skit we prepared... hahah its pretty lame... hahahah but it doesn't matter its the fun we had that matters... Tonight we are suppose to be able to have an early night. however, i can't slp so dragged a few of the ppl and go to the OGL's room to play some games... also to finish the BBQed food... its fun... especially the polar bear game.... hahahah i like it... i like to tok a lot of rot and frame ppl to get killed thats the fun of the game! We played until 3am plus before we went back to slp... so tired.....

4th day 05 july. Second last day... the sad feeling of this camp is breaking is starting to set in... anyway.. thats aside... today we are gg to SENTOSA!!!! yeah!!!!! i am so happy!!! its been a long time since i gone to Sentosa!!! hahahahh we had a lot of activities at the beach its so fun... I swam in the sea for the most number of time.... hahahah wa... so tired... really cannot deny i am 21 le!! hahahah I was sunburned like mad.... (then now i am peeling skin like mad!) At night we had an SP night at Aloha Changi... hahahah it din turn out very fun for me cos my SP not very fun loving so hahahah and we dun really have any common topic so no choice.... din really tok much... hahahah But after that we went for supper as an OG. At the supper then we realised a big secret... Actually there are 2 of us who are Senior Attached!!!! hahahah Xiao Tian and Desiree... wa.. .they really can act very well we din even notice!!! hahahah but they are still part of the OG! We talked until 4 plus before going back to the hall to slp!

5th day 06 july. Last day of the camp!!! Sad sad T-T We had a last finale game!!!! but it wasn't as fun as expected... hahgahah Ohhhh......... the camp ended!!! haih.... so sad.... We had a lunch together.... everyone was toking so happily about the camp!!! Really happy i joined the orientation camp!!!! Really happy that i knew everyone.... its really a blessing to me! i hope everyone can keep in contact forever!!! Lets look forward to the Kanza outing on Sat~!!! See ya everyone!!!! Kanza RulZ!

Wow... I nvr felt so sian before!!!
today is friday!! if i am in DVC i would be enjoying myself with the kids!!! Preparing for their concert, conducting lessons and bla bla bla... really missed DVC camp. The activity level over there is so high!!! compared to over here... its like a complete drop... But guess eventually i have to get use to this cos i cannot always jus remain in camps and play with the kids...... haih.....
Even worse if like i got something to do in the office it would be ok la... but the problem now is that i have nothing to do... i mean yes the boss did ask me to do something but i am so new, i dun even know how to start with..... haihh.......
So now i am surfing the net and slacking haih.....
Hope the boss comes back quickly and tell me how to start on the thing.... i still have like 8 hrs before i knock off!!!! how to endure thru this???

Discovery Vacation Camp (Tao Nan)

4Th June - 8Th June

For this whole week, i have been working at Discovery Vacation Camp. Its a camp for primary school kids to learn more about science. Thanks to Kok Leong i was introduced by him for the camp to work as camp leaders for the camp.

I was assigned to class A9. My partner is Ying Ying and my teacher is Vincent Young. We worker together to conduct experiments for the kids and to take them on outings. My class i would say is the most "active" one... Hahah.. They are never quiet!!! ( Except that when they are scolded ny Mr Young) hahaha....

Oh also I am the bus leader for this week of the camp, I am in charged of picking the kids up from 3 points ( Pasir Ris, Tampines & Bedok) and sending them back to the respective camp. Wow that is the hardest thing to do!! Very hard to control the kids!!!

Hahahah overall i enjoyed the camp a lot and the company of the kids! hahah they are just like angels! Innocent and cute...

Fun Fun!!!!

Wow... today is one of the most interesting day i have ever had!!

I met Kok Leong to have lunch at abt 12 noon at OCBC there... that place brings back memories both good and bad ones.. hahahaha

Then went to look for Patrick at his work place yto have a small chat with him. Hahah he is forever so funny ... giving out brochures on the OCBC-NTUC credit card. Quite long never see him already and he is still the same. Full of weird ideas and humorous!

Then at abt 2pm i took a train back to Raffles Place to meet up with Lijuan. (Although she only reached at abt 2.30 :P)

We went to this super cool TCC just across the street of OCBC... the place is so nice to chat and hang out with friends. Thank you Wan Shan for the great recommendation.

We chatted in the TCC for like 2 hours then proceed to cineleisure to watch a movie, 200 pounds of beauty. The show is quite nice. I seldom like korean movies because i thought korean shows are always very slow, even their tears roll down their cheeks at 1/2 the speed of normal people. Surprisingly this show isn't, the storyline is not bad and its funny.

After the show, i took Lijuan to make the Mini-me handphone chain. Its a very cute thing with your face on the doll. hahahah. Our princess here took the photos 3 times before she finally agreed to using one of them as the pic. It turned out quite nice. hahaha

After that we went to take the DHL balloon at bugis... I have long wanted to take it already but always cannot find the time and company to take with and finally nows the chance!!

hahaha Initially we thought we might not be able to take it cos it rained earlier on. However when we went over to ask, the "flight Steward" told us that its ok for flight. Hahahah so we bought the tix and went on an extraordinary trip to view Singapore from the high point. The view is magnificent!! No words can ever describe how nice it is.. But initially the taking off part is really a bit scary. hahaha Lijuan is quite scared holding on to the railing so tightly. As we rise up, we were so taken aback by the view that the scariness jus went away. Its so super duper ultra nice! Enough of talk show you all some photos! Then you will know how nice it was!

3 months passed so fast...

My temp job in OCBC has also ended already....

To think back at the times of working in the filing room, talking and joking with Anthoni and Inah its so fun!!! This work let me learned a lot of things.. Although we are only responsible for culling of old documents, i have seen what office work is like. Also along the way i made a lot of friends, like Anthoni, Inah, Caroline, Patrick etc...

Now that i am buming ard at home, i suddenly missed the filing room... Next time if got the chance i hope to go back there to work again. With Anthoni they all...

hahahahah today is 3-8 Woman's day!!!! happy day to you ladies!!!! hahahah
today at the office is super fun... the first half of the day is boring as usual.... teasing wanying all the way while working on the culling hahahah... but today a bit no energy!~!!
hahahahah then in the evening i think there's a celebration for this woman's day so we get balloons... hahahah i finally got my chance to test the helium thing...
hahahah so its true that when u take in a big breath of helium.... then as you speak, your voice will change to a cute donald duck's kind of voice leh!!!!!!!! hahahaha its so so so so so fun!!! hahahah i had so much laugh lor.... its so funny la!!!!

Hong Kong Trip 28/12/2006

Take a deep breathe!!!!!! Ahh.... Hong Kong air is so............. *cough*....... er a bit polluted.

hahahah today is the second last day of my trip! Sad..... T-T

Anyway today is going to be an exciting day!!! Cos today is our super duper ultra exciting trip to MACAU!!!!! WO WO WOOOOOOOOO!!!! ahahhaah Give me a 3 in 1 wa... WA WA WAAAAAAAA!!!

Woke up early in the morning to take a ferry over to Macau! After lots and lots of delay... finally decided to take a ferry to Macau at 11.30 am. The ferry is super deluxe! its like the business class of the aeroplane. Hahahah.. Almost instantly we fell asleep once we sit down.

After a long long long sleep we finally reached Macau. The custom took a very long time haih.... due to the shortage of $$$$ we decided to take bus no. 11 (which is our legs) throughout the whole tour of macau.

First, we walked half an hour to a Guan Yin Temple. This Guan Yin Temple is really very classic. It has the features of a very olden chinese temple.

After that, we proceed over to a hilltop where there are cannons placed there think its so war site. Sounds like Fort canning right? ahhaah but the view there is magnificent, can even see the race course where they race dogs. The view is simply breathtaking. However the walk up the hill is really ... er .... taking away my breath!

Wa.... the 2 hour of walk is really taking my life le... so we decided to go and get some local delicacies to eat and also walk towards our last destination of the day St Paul's Church.

Along the way we ate some pork chop bun, portugese egg tarts, etc etc! hahaahahha so filling! We also bought some local delicacies. Delicious!

Then we reached St Paul's church. Its really pretty nice, just like what we saw in the Hongkong series and movies... hahaha i feel like Brad Pitt all of a sudden! Ok i shall post some photos to let you see. Got Brad Pitt inside leh!!!

Hong Kong Trip 27/12/2006

A brand new day!!!!! Today is our rest day!!! We will just stay around in kowloon and hong kong island to do all the shoppings!!!

Woke up really late today.... then decided to go to the nearby Ladies Street to take a look .... Although we have been here for several days and the Ladies street is just nearby, we we nv really went to shop there.

This street although is called Ladies Street, don't be mistaken, it does not only sells ladies wears and accessories. Basically it sells everything from kids wear to old ah ma's clothing... hahah... To our surprise, the things here in ladies street is really cheap. Even cheaper than that at the Temple Street.... Feel so cheated... So we decide to use a very brilliant way to reduce our loss... that is by buying more things here to balance out the loss!!! hahahahah Brilliant right? Then here goes!!! Shopaholics!!!!

Basically we spent the whole day shopping.... then had dinner then went to Temple street to shop again..... And its on this fateful day that i spent almost 3/4 of my HKD... T-T

Hong Kong Trip 26/12/2006

Hello long time no post i am terribly sorry for that because i am quite busy these days.

ok continuing the long long story....

Oh on the 26th of Dec, our plan for today is to go to ShenZhen.

So we took a MTR which links between ShenZhen and HongKong. Upon arriving at the Luo Hu statuion, we had our documentation and everything done then proceed on to Shen Zhen. Shen Zhen was not like what i imagined. Basically to say simply, its quite dusty and er.... look somehow complicated.... We saw a shopping center just beside the station and so we went in to take a look. There are really a lot of "pirated" items sold over here in ShenZhen... Some of them the quality looks really real while some are really lousy, one look and you know its pirated.

Anyway poor Edwin kenna cheated by some salesperson in one of the stores and spent HK$300 to buy a pair of sports shoes.... Poor thing! Then we decided that we shall go to a Shangri-La hotel nearby to take a break and use the toilet before deciding on where to proceed next. Hahahah Shangri-La is really high class no matter where they are located. Everything look so posh! so we can't help ourselves but started horsing around. Acting as the roles inside "Gong" and took some photos... hahah

After so playing around, we decided to proceed towards the "nearby" pasar malam in Shenzhen. Actually its not really near, we took about 45 mins of walk to reach that place. On the way we went to play Gachapon and i got myself a really cute and nice Chopper keychain! So Happy!!! hahah things over in China is really cheap! like the Mac it only cost about SGD$3 plus.

Finally we made it to our destination. The things sold here are really cheap and we are so happy! Shopping again!!! YEAH!!! I bought myself a really nice pair of "Adidas" sneaker which cost only abt SGD$18. hahaha Sgt Tan they all also bought some bags, jeans and shirts respectively. However someone spoilt our mood while we were happily shopping. There was this weird lady who started to follow us around while we were shopping in a shopping complex. No matter where we went she jus kept following us. Initially, we thought that she was a pickpocket, eyeing on our wallet. On enquiring with one of the shopkeeper, she told us that lady was a loony, she will follow any stranger that enters the shopping complex and once we step out she will not follow anymore.

Partly is out of fear that the mad lady might do something unpredicted and partly is that its getting dark, so we decided to leave for Hongkong. Due to the sky darkening very fast during winter, we hurried our way back to the train station. At the train station we saw a money changer that offer a very good rate of 1 RMB to HKD$1, we changed all of our rmb to HK$. ahhah little did we know that actually there was actually a charge not stated. Those who exchanged a little amt of money still ok. Ok la Andy was the biggest "Kai Zi" hahaha he was charged a service charge of HKD 35 haahhaah.... When he realised that, he started cursing from China to HongKong! hahahaha

That concludes our trip for today!

Hong Kong Trip 25/12/06

Merry Christmas!!!!! Christmas day!!!!! Present day!!!! hahahaha

Today's plan is to go to Lantau Island, where Disney land is situated but we are not going to Disneyland!!! hahahha

After all the usual stuff, we set of to Lantau island. Initially we plan to take a cable car but due to the scary amount of pple taking the cable car, we decide to give it a miss, so we bought a limitless bus ticket and took a bus there!

After 1 hour of long and bumpy ride we finally reached our first destination, Tai-O. This place is basically just a fishing village, famous for its prawn sauce. Its made famous by a HongKong serial which was shot here. If i remember correctly, that serial is acted by Chen Song Ling.

However its still very pretty and sell lots of stuff like seafood and souvenirs made from seashells. Definitely, we bought some famous prawn sauce back home. Actually, personally i like this place because this place is very tranquil and nice unlike the busty and crowded city area. Its good to come to this place once in a while to take a walk and calm your nerves...

After walking around in Tai-O, we took a bus to ngyong ping. This is where the Giant Buddha is situated.

This place is really magnificent!!! The air, the temperature, the atmosphere evrything is so nice here! Feel so comfortable here!! We took a walk around, had a vegetarian dinner at the temple nearby before going up the 200 over steps to reach the giant buddha. Took lots of photos!

7 Days Hong Kong Trip (24/12/06)

Woke up at 8am when we slept at 2am last night... (P.S. OPC complain like mad la!) hahahaahhaha

After all the dily dailying, we left the hostel to search for a nice place to have breakfast. (Wow all the food regardless of whether if it is restaurant or kopitiam, is all expensive). Initially our plan is to go to ocean park, but due to the expensive admission tickets and everything, we decided to abort the plan and proceed to Hong Kong main island to do more shopping! hahah

After a whole day long of shopping, evening, we went to the Times Square. This building is of 15 storeys high and we got cheated to go all the way up thinking there is a food court. However, there is only a bazaar. hahahah we shopped until 10pm then go over to Lan Kwai Fong for countdown.

Tell you ar!!! wow there is so much so much so much so much people there!!!! Its like there is 10000 people over there lor!!! (a bit exaggerated!) haahah. We just hang around there for about 1 hour talking cock and playing around. (P.S. Andy made me commited a lot of sin lor!! not me!!!) Wow until christmas the atmosphere is fantastic plus the cold weather, its almost like the dreamlike christmas, except for the snow! everyone is screaming and sshouting celebrating christmas! so fun!!!

7 Days Hong Kong Trip (23/12/06)

Went on a Hong Kong 7 days trip recently with my army frens! Wow its absolutely fantastic! Shop like CRAZY!
On the 23rd Dec, as our flight departs at 7.15am, we arranged to meet at the airport at 5 in the morning. We done everything @ the airport and quickly check in, formally embarking on our trip!

We arrive in Hongkong at about 11am. delay a bit of time @ the airport taking our bags and buying food to eat before taking the super expensive airport bus to Mongkok, the place where we stay. We stay in a hostel called the Dragon Hostel (sound like Long Men Ke Zhan).

After every thing is done at the hostel, we begin our shopping spree! Went to Fa Yuen and Ladies street to shop. Basically bought a lot and lot of food. I remember Andy eating the smelly beancurd (Chou Tou Fu)! wa... it smells like.... er ...shit! hahahaha
At about 5 pm, it was already dark and we proceed over to Tsim Sha Tsui to have dinner. on the way, taking a walk along the avenue of stars!
